The Marilyn
Makers Notes:
The Marilyn
She was widely regarded as the most beautiful woman in the world, but largely unknown as any beautiful mountain or hill in Scotland with a prominence of at least 150 metres. The name ‘Marilyn’ was coined as a witty contrast to the name Munro, used to denote a Scottish mountain with a height of more than 914.4 metres. It is homophonous with (Marilyn) Monroe. Like her famous namesake, the Marilyn is one of a kind. The meandering lines and curvaceous beauty of this creation will demand your attention. You should, of course, be only too pleased to give it.
Example in red meranti. Gloss lacquer finish.
